A Fair and Transparent Refund Process
This sample policy describes how cancellation and refund requests may be handled for custom publishing services.
Dummy content · Updated August 20261. Requesting a Refund
Refund requests should be submitted in writing with the client name, order details and reason for the request. Our team may ask for additional information before completing its review.
2. Before Work Begins
A cancellation received before project work begins may qualify for a refund, less any non-refundable processing, consultation or third-party charges identified in the project agreement.
3. Work in Progress
Because editing, design and publishing services are customized, completed work and time already allocated are generally non-refundable. Any eligible refund may be calculated after deducting the value of completed milestones.
4. Non-Refundable Items
- Approved or delivered milestones and digital files.
- Printing, distribution, ISBN and retailer fees paid to third parties.
- Rush fees, licensed assets and work completed after client approval.
5. Review and Processing
Eligible requests are normally reviewed within 7–10 business days. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible; banking networks may require additional processing time.
6. Revisions and Service Concerns
Before requesting cancellation, clients are encouraged to contact the project team. Where the original scope has not been met, we may first offer a correction or reasonable revision in accordance with the project agreement.
